The Overall Response to The Terrace Grill has been Positive. . .  . . .and that has been extremely encouraging to Chris, myself, Chef Joseph & Bonnie, our manager. The construction of the Grill & our Native Plant Garden Center is now completed & we will be busy planting the pots & the rest of the gardens. Our clear plastic roll downs which will shield us from the wind & cold are to be installed this week (we've been promised.) It's a delightful experience to eat "outdoors" in perfect comfort no matter what the weather is. Please join us for a pleasurable & delicious dining experience!

Thanksgiving Dinner '09 at Riven Rock Ranch  We've all been waiting for the finalized information about Thanksgiving Dinner. It's time for you to start getting very hungry!
Here's a classic photo from our 2007 Thanksgiving Dinner--just before they filled their plates! The scrumptious meal we're planning to share with you on Nov. 26th will be a little different from our previous Thanksgiving buffets. Long lines to get served were a little cumbersome & boring, so we are offering a "modified" buffet. This means we will have stations (small buffets) for the salads & desserts enabling diners to get their salads as soon as they arrive. The wait staff will then take individual orders for the entrees--don't worry
More Information & the Thanksgiving Menu --seconds for anything are included in the price, just as if it were a "real" buffet. When finished with entrées & seconds, diners go to the dessert station for their choice of dessert(s). Hope this sounds as good to you as it does to me! The plan is to serve dinner in La Cocina, but if it is one of those absolutely beautiful, warm Thanksgiving days like we've experienced once or twice in the past, we may move to The Terrace Grill so that we all can enjoy eating our Thanksgiving feast in the great outdoors. |
Hooray!! Bells are Ringing!! Congratulations!!  The very first time someone got engaged at The Terrace Grill happened last weekend! The engagement ring was presented to a charming young lady while enjoying her special dinner at The Terrace Grill! She thought they were celebrating her birthday, but. . . .
All the nearby diners got happily involved when he got on his knee to propose & she accepted! It was a lovely evening to enjoy with them. We were so lucky! |

| The Terrace Grill will be closed for dinner only this Fri. & Sat., Nov. 6th & 7th. We will be opened for lunch both of those days & we will be opened for lunch & dinner on Sun. the 8th. We're sorry for this inconvenience & hope you can come to lunch on Fri. or Sat., or lunch or dinner on Sun. the 8th. This won't happen often & I will try to let you know in advance each time.
