These are all held in Kerrville, a few miles from Roddy Tree Ranch. You can spend the entire day at these events and return to your cottage rental within minutes.

Lazy Days and Starry nights- On Wednesday nights we have movie night old school style with popcorn, hot dogs, nachos and soda pop. We try to watch movies everyone can enjoy and we always start with cartoons like back in the day. Adult beverages are also available.On the weekends You never know who is going to show up but I promise you the quality of the hill country musicians will blow your mind. On Friday nights we start out with sometimes swinging and always silly karaoke. Saturday nights, the canteen is a laid back country and blues open mic and singer songwriter venue. Opening Friday, A Fantasy for All Ages!
Get to The Point to see our first production of the summer season, The Neverending Story, opening Friday at 8:30 p.m. This is the first time the fantasy, directed by Alicia Tafoya, will be produced by community theatre.

Join us opening night for a pre-show reception at 7 p.m. in the Gallery at The Point in honor of the current exhibit, Expanding Horizons (see below).

The play is based on the 1979 best-selling novel by German author Michael Ende, adapted for the stage by David S. Craig. The novel was also the basis of the 1984 film of the same name.

The Neverending Story follows the adventures of two young boys who attempt to save the make-believe land of Fantastica from being destroyed by a force called the Nothing. The show runs through June 26.

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for youths 17 and younger. Sunday, June 13 is Family Night and all tickets are only $8. For reservations, call the box office at 830-367-5121.

June’s First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg brings another fabulous opportunity to witness “art in action” with Artisans’ own clay artists. Join us for this wonderfully fun annual event and watch art come to life through hand-building, glazing, throwing (wheel work), carving, precious metal clay jewelry and more.
