The Lazy Days Canteen, our music venue, offers live entertainment on Saturday nights during the summer season. Performers who have appeared at the Lazy Days Canteen include Nashville recording artist, Dana Cooper, whose amazing career spans four decades, The McKay Brothers, Slim Richie & the JItterbug Vipers, The Dust Devils, and Billy Bright's Blue Grass Super Group from Austin.For more country and folk music, you can attend the Kerrville Folk and Music Festival , Texas Heritage Day , or the Kerr County Fair. These are all held in Kerrville, a few miles from Roddy Tree Ranch. You can spend the entire day at these events and return to your cottage rental within minutes.

Lazy Days and Starry nights- On Wednesday nights we have movie night old school style with popcorn, hot dogs, nachos and soda pop. We try to watch movies everyone can enjoy and we always start with cartoons like back in the day. Adult beverages are also available.On the weekends You never know who is going to show up but I promise you the quality of the hill country musicians will blow your mind. On Friday nights we start out with sometimes swinging and always silly karaoke. Saturday nights, the canteen is a laid back country and blues open mic and singer songwriter venue. The Roddy Tree Ranch River Rats play after open mic until 11:30 pm, where besides having a coffee bar, we serve old fashioned soda pop, domestic and Texas beers and local Hill Country wines under the stars amid the twinkly lights.Summer 2010 Schedule
