Sunset Dinner at Riven Rock Ranch...























Dear Friends of Riven Rock Ranch,

You’ll want to put June 9th on your calendars for another wonderful Sunset Dinner at the Ranch. We are featuring fine cuisine from the Pacific Rim area. Last year this was the favorite of many since there aren’t a lot of places serving gourmet Asian cuisine. This is a different menu from last year, but I’m sure you will enjoy it very much. Please make your reservations as soon as possible by calling 830-995-4045.

Also, we are getting ready to open “The Terrace Grill” sometime in July. We will be open for lunch and dinner Friday through Sunday. This new venue will be located in our native plant garden. I’ll notify you when we have an exact date.

$49.95, plus tax & gratuity

Reservations available from 5:30 until 8:00

Reasonably priced wines are available for your pleasure

First Course

Coconut Shrimp

Sweet coconut and panko breaded large shrimp pan fried

Served topped with ginger preserves

-or-

Egg Roll

Shredded cabbage, carrots, sprouts, coriander, and chicken stuffed egg roll

Served with a sweet n sour apricot dipping sauce

Second Course

Both accompanied with crispy fried noodles

Egg Drop Soup

A traditional chicken broth and egg based soup

Garnished with julienne spring onions

Green Mango Salad

Matchstick cut mangos, sweet red bell pepper & daikon radish

Tossed in a light coriander and rice wine vinaigrette

Third Course

Tamarind Beef

Sesame oil marinated beef tenderloin

Pan seared in shallot oil and topped with a sweet tamarind reduction

Served over jasmine rice and lemon grass infused snow peas

Mongolian Duck Breast

Grilled duck breast glazed in soy, ginger, chili, & honey

Served over coconut rice and lemon grass infused snow peas

-or-

Fresh Halibut

Sake and ginger marinated Halibut served pan sautéed

Topped with a coconut and candied ginger sauce

Accompanied with black rice and lemon grass infused snow peas

Fourth Course

Coconut Tapioca Pudding

Tapioca pudding cooked in cream of coconut

Folded into whipped cream and toasted coconut to give it a mousse like texture

Pineapple Tempura

Ripe golden pineapple dipped in tempura and fried to golden brown

Served over vanilla bean ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce
