Benefit Golf Tournament Postponed until June 6th

For immediate release

Rain on Saturday, May 16 caused the postponement of the Lake Buchanan Conservation
Corporation’s First Annual Golf Tournament at Delaware Springs Golf Course in Burnet, TX. It will now be held on June 6, 2009 at 1 PM. The event will be a Shotgun Start, Four Person Scramble. The cost is $50.00 per player. This includes; Green Fees, Carts, Range Balls, Prizes and a Lunch Buffet. Many local and national organizations have signed on as Hole and Board sponsors. All proceeds will be used to improve Lake Buchanan. Since 2006, the LBCC has stocked the lake
with over 5 million fish and created 14 brush pile fish habitats.

The Lake Buchanan Conservation Corporation is an independent non‐profit corporation
dedicated to maintaining and improving the effectiveness of Lake Buchanan as a recreational
area for all who wish to use it.
