News from Rancho Cortez....

New Speakers and Classes at the Fitness Ranch!

Starting in June, the Rancho Cortez fitness program is expanding to include new classes designed to complement our existing program and challenge participants to even greater goals. The new offerings include:

Registered Dietician Letty Holmbo (Mondays, 4-6 p.m.)
Letty will begin a new series on weight management designed to provide instruction on becoming a conscious eater and detail how personality affects eating style. Students also will get tips on social eating and more. Each class includes a full, healthy dinner prepared by Letty herself.

Professional Life Coach (Tuesdays, 3-5 p.m.)
Life coach Leia Francisco will lead this 8-part series on redesigning your life. Each workshop is a stand-alone program, but together they integrate components of life redesign into a cohesive whole and provide for a more comprehensive experience.

Hypnotherapist Pat Labeda (Wednesdays, 3-4:30 p.m.)
Pat will focus on self-healing through hypnosis, which enables guests to tap into their own inner reservoir of strength to improve their health, lose weight, overcome addiction, and manage pain. These group sessions provide straightforward, simple instructions for bringing this technique home.

All sessions are provided to Rancho Cortez fitness program participants at no additional charge. A small number of spots will be open to the general public, but we ask that you call at least one week in advance to reserve a spot. Additionally, all speakers are available for one-on-one consultations and ongoing support.

Cowgirl Horse Camp Begins in June!

Girls, it's time to get your gear and saddle up for this year's Horse Camp at Rancho Cortez. Beginning the first full week in June, we'll give young cowgirls (ages 8-16) the opportunity to learn how to care for, saddle, and ride a horse with the skill and confidence of an experienced handler. Better yet, all campers will be taught to barrel race and will have the chance to participate in a real Bandera, Texas rodeo.

We intentionally keep our groups small and limited to girls, except for one week when we have an all-boy horse camp. We want all of our campers to leave the ranch with lots of smiles, a memorable summer, and horsemanship skills to last a lifetime.

Get program details and make reservations for your cowgirl to spend the summer doing something they'll cherish for years to come.
