Only Two More Chances

To See Almost, Maine

Theatre fans only have two chances left to see Almost, Maine,the heartwarming romantic comedy, now onstage at The Point Theatre. The production, directed by Chris Huber, will be performed Friday and Saturday Feb. 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Almost, Maine, by John Cariani, is set in the fictional town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's citizens find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways.

The play features nine short vignettes with 19 characters portrayed by six actors. T.J. Ashabranner, Ginny Clendennen, Tim Clendennen, Philip Huddleston, Jessica Roberts, and Sarah Tacey make up the ensemble cast.

Friday night is almost sold out, but there are plenty of tickets on Saturday. They are priced at $15 for adults and $10 for youths 17 and younger. For reservations or more information, call 830-367-5121.

Sticks & Stones Outdoor Meeting Set for March 6

A quick reminder to all artists who are planning to exhibit outdoor works for the upcoming Sticks + Stones Exhibit: We will be meeting in front of the Gallery on March 6th at 9:30 to begin installing outdoor works.

HCAF facilities are available for rental when not being used for our regular theatre and art events. We have everything from the outdoor theatre which seats over 700 to a studio room for as few as 10.

One of our most popular rooms is The Country Kitchen. This picturesque meeting room is adjacent to the outdoor theatre and overlooks the Guadalupe River. It seats 50-75 and is equipped with a warming kitchen.
