Salute our Wounded Warriors!
On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Fredericksburg will be hosting two busloads of Wounded Warriors from Brooks Army Medical Center (BAMC) San Antonio and Ft. Hood for the day. This has been arranged by “Fredericksburg Salutes Our Wounded Warriors” (FSOWW) www.fsoww.org
These Wounded Warriors, about 120 Service Men and Women and their families, will be provided transportation, lunch, side trips, Rock Box tickets and a catered box dinner for the trip home all at no expense to them. This has been made available by the generous contributions of scores of local citizens.
The busses will be arriving at Market Square at about 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 15th.
This is a great opportunity to express our appreciation to members of our Armed Forces for their service and sacrifice for us.
We invite all those in our area to be there on the square to meet these Wounded Warriors and their families.
Feel free to bring tasteful & appropriate signs that express your appreciation for their service.
