"It's a Mosaic World"

Artisans at Rocky Hill proudly presents
“It’s a Mosaic World” featuring the fabulously fun and colorfully created mosaic art of Suzan Germond. 35 exciting new pieces will be presented at an opening reception on Friday, September 3rd during First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Wines by Torre di Pietra and cheeses from the Amish Market will be served. Be the first to see the new creations of Suzan Germond, who will be in the gallery during the opening reception. A demonstration by Suzan will take place on Saturday, September 4th from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Suzan’s show will be on display and available for purchase through
Saturday, September 18th.

Suzan Germond, of Austin, has been represented by Artisans at Rocky Hill since the gallery opening in July of 2005. She has been wildly popular with gallery guests and her work is favored throughout the Texas Hill Country and beyond. Her use of found objects, color and fun are evident in every piece she creates. Suzan has a substantial art background to draw upon and has chosen to make mosaics that embody the transformative process; changing old, discarded, nondescript objects into works of beauty. Suzan uses a variety of materials such as iridescent glass, Italian smalti, ceramic tile, colored mirror, jewelry and found objects to create detailed, colorful and whimsical art work.
